Assistant Centre Manager

**Role Overview**:
The Assistant Centre Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and administration of the centre to ensure a smooth and professional experience for students and parents. This role includes handling customer service, supporting student enrolment and retention efforts, and maintaining the overall operational efficiency of the centre. The Assistant Centre Manager will work closely with the District Manager to meet enrolment targets and uphold service standards. While this role currently does not include staff supervision, the individual must be capable of taking on team leadership responsibilities as the centre grows.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Achieve Student Enrolment & Retention targets**
- Work closely with District Manager to actively retain students and achieve enrolment targets.
- Track and report enrolment, assessments, and withdrawal data to HQ.
- Actively follow up with parents to support ongoing engagement.
**2. Customer Service & Communication**
- Provide timely and professional responses to customer enquiries.
- Understand and address customer concerns with empathy and accuracy.
- Ensure all customer issues are resolved within agreed timeframes.
**3. Centre Operations & Administration**
- Oversee daily operations of the centre to ensure it runs efficiently.
- Manage and update the student management system for enrolments, assessments, and withdrawals.
- Ensure student resources, stationery, and merchandise are well stocked.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safe environment of the centre.
- Manage petty cash and support payment-related matters, including chasing outstanding payments.
- Handle ad hoc administrative duties as required.
**4. Team & People Management**
- Provide direction and guidance to centre executives.
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Escalate complex or urgent issues to management in a timely manner.
**Essential Traits & Skills**:
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Highly organised, with good time management and attention to detail.
- Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Warm, kind, and nurturing when dealing with children and parents.
- Able to supervise junior staff with a supportive leadership approach.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,200.00 per month
