IT Engineer

**About the Role**

An established Industrial Machinery firm, looking for an experienced **IT Engineer **with strong experience in **Windows Technologies** and **L2 Technical Support**. You will report directly to the **IT Manager**.
- Delivering technical support to employees through various channels (in-person, phone, web meetings)
- Coordinating, managing, and providing support for the company's IT hardware and software, including office equipment and facility maintenance
- Creating and managing user accounts for new employees and maintaining existing user accounts
- Monitoring, investigating, planning, and implementing security measures to ensure company-wide cybersecurity
- Handling the procurement, renewal, and disposal of IT hardware and software
- Promptly addressing and reporting security issues and requests
- Undertaking any other assigned ad hoc duties

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor in Computer Science /Information Technology/ Science/ Mathematics or relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT support and operations, with a focus on server administration.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities to address technical and operational challenges.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.
- Proficient knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, domains, and security, including Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Virtualization Technologies, iPhone/iPad, or similar technologies.
- Enthusiasm for learning and utilising new technology.
- Great communication skills and customer centric.
- A motivated mind-set, someone who's great to have as a team-mate.
