Corporate Tech Senior Associate/partner

This full-service UK headquartered firm with ambitious plans for their Asian presence is seeking to build on recent successes, and also anticipate the next upturn in the tech sector in the region, by making an important strategic hire.
You may be an experienced corporate lawyer in private practice in Singapore with specific tech and venture capital exposure, or in house with a tech company, but possessing significant previous private practice deal experience, and seeking a new entrepreneurial challenge.
This is a leadership role, and though a following is beneficial though not strictly required, the willingness and ability to network, market, and win work (with the support of the firm and global team) will be needed.
As the firm does not yet have local law capability the focus (at least initially) will be cross-border M&A and private equity deals and commercial agreements in the tech sector. Therefore, overseas admission (e.g. England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand) will be looked upon favourably.
