I. JOB DETAILS

Job Title - Depty Manager,Social Media

II. JOB PURPOSE
- The role holder is responsible for managing the school’s online presence through social media channels.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Functional - Ability to managing a small team of designers and content creators for daily work-related output.
- Should create gripping content, analyse public feedback, and report on the effects of each key channel.
- Manages and grows the school’s social media channels to increase brand awareness.
- Understands the target audience (i.e. prospective parents) to develop engaging and relevant social media content.
- To work with senior management and create written pieces that are sharp, memorable, and effective at prompting readers to take the desired action.
- Works closely with teachers and parents to create content (e.g. success stories, parent testimonials, etc.) that promotes the school to prospective parents
- Tracks and monitors user engagement and feedback for each social media post (e.g. likes, comments, reactions, etc.)
- Analyses the user engagement data to determine the effectiveness of the social media channels and types of content, and makes improvement to the content and delivery based on the results.
- Interacts with audiences and replies to queries and comments on the social media posts in a professional manner
- Works closely with the other departments and coordinates social media messages (e.g. creates posts for Open House together with the Admission team, etc.)
- Stays abreast of social media trends and competitors’ social media activities.
- Will travel with senior management and collaborate with Videographers and Multimedia Designers when necessary.
- Will optimizing content for publication across various social media sites, scheduling copy for release at optimal times.
- Would be responsible for monitoring users' engagement with and feedback on every post.
- Plan, implement and manage public relations strategies
- Organize and manage various Public Relations activities
- Measure performance of each activity and event
- Determine KPIs for PR
- Measure and produce reports on PR KPIs and each PR campaign
- IV. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Qualifications - Degree in marketing, communication studies, journalism, creative writing, or similar.
- Experience as a social media executive at a similar company.
- Ability to create authoritative and persuasive texts.
- Flexible and engaging writing style.
- Knowledge of pertinent engagement metrics.
- Appreciation for novel insights and ideas.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime to accommodate various time zones.
- Design knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency or working knowledge in design platforms like Adobe InDesign etc.
- Experience and Skills - 2-3 years of experience in Marketing, Communications
- Should be a good communicator with a knack for story-telling through new media
- Should have the ability to connect and work closely with upper management and academic leadership
- Pleasant personality, curious to the core, enthusiastic about working with student community and teacher community

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
