Our client, is a Singapore-Based technology fund, created to provide growth capital for fast-growing startups and tech companies in the Asia-Pacific and EMEA region. The fund will invest middle-later stage startups and manage $500+ million. Our client is a JV between a banking subsidiary and Middle East-based Fintech and U.S. based venture capital company.

Job Responsibilities:

- Drive deal sourcing and lead due diligence efforts to identify and invest in high-quality startups
- Work closely with the General Partner and other members of the investment team to formulate and execute investment strategies
- Represent the company in various forums and events to promote the fund and build its brand
- Mentor and coach the investment team to ensure the success of individual deals and the overall fund
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis on potential and existing investment opportunities
- Conduct due diligence meetings, performing reference checks with portfolio company executives
- Reviewing offering memoranda for new investment opportunities coming to market
- Conducting due diligence research on potential buyouts, acquisitions, and other potential investment opportunities
- Performing reference checks with portfolio company executives, working extensively with financial models, and evaluating overall performance by examining underlying portfolio investments
- Monitoring the firm’s investments through regular interaction with other associates and managers, as well as attending meetings with client companies and investment teams
- Constantly sourcing deals by developing relationships with entrepreneur

To be succesful in this role you should have
- More than 20 years of relevant working experience in venture capital, private equity, or a similar role
- University degree in a related field required, with an MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
- Strong contacts and network in eco system or Banking industry
- A deep understanding of the technology and startup ecosystems
- Extensive experience in financial modelling & structuring
- Excellent relationship & stakeholder management skills, demonstrable ability to gain trust
- Professional communication skills
- Strong analytical, strategic, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Independent, passionate and driven individual
- Good Knowledge of appropriate software including:

- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong desire to grow or continue your career
