Position Summary:
We are currently looking to hire an Accountant (1 year contract) to be based in Singapore.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the maintaining fixed asset ledgers. Ensure fixed assets transactions/activities (capitalization, retirement, adjustment, depreciation) are promptly and correctly accounted.
- Responsible for project cost control and ensure conformance with company policy.
- Analyses and monitor project budget and actual cost. Identify financial opportunities/exposure to the project.
- Responsible for stock management - inventory reconciliation, analysis, reporting and controls.
- Support plant manufacturing reporting.
- Support in quarterly forecast, annual budget.
- Support in financial and SOX audit.

**Tasks**:

- Perform & co-ordinate month end closing of accounts including review of variance accounts and postings of journals and ensure completeness, accuracy and timely closing of accounts.
- Perform monthly analysis of financial reports against budget, forecast and previous years actuals.

What we are looking for:

- Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience in management of financial systems and budget
- Able to cope in a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.
- Hands on experience with SAP
- Experience in forecast and analysis.
