**Position Summary**

We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support our cloud infrastructure operations. This role is primarily focused on maintaining and managing our cloud environments, including networking, security, and clusters in various regions. You'll be working with tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate and optimize infrastructure tasks. While the current focus is on operational support, including monitoring and provisioning, there are opportunities for this to grow into a platform engineering role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the cloud infrastructure across multiple regions, ensuring uptime, performance, and security.
- Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
- Ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of the cloud infrastructure, with mínimal downtime during planned maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts to ensure the smooth operation of cloud environments.
- Assist in maintaining the security of cloud environments, including managing firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Work closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Participate in the development and deployment of infrastructure changes, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

**Job Requirements**
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security concepts.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 infrastructure support.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Eagerness to grow and take on more responsibility within the DevOps and platform engineering domains.
