**Regional IM&S Category Manager (Logistics) - Your future position?**

Workplace location: Woodlands, Singapore

You will develop and implement regional Logistics strategies (and related tactical plans) to source the IM&S categories and secure supply following business plan. Operate under guidance but with autonomy. You will lead regional cross functional sourcing teams for Logistics within controlled spend.You will be reporting to the Head of IM&S.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Sourcing Strategy**
- Guide the development of regional category strategies within the framework of the global procurement and category strategy
- Analyze market and implement risk management strategies for the portfolio
- Lead regional sourcing strategy development within cross functional teams
- Drive regional sourcing strategy implementation by leading major RFQs and important negotiations

**Portfolio Management**
- Negotiate contracts regionally and locally
- Select, manage and audit suppliers
- Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization, and involve and engage stakeholders in development of optimization plans
- Link with Site Buyers and Regional/Site IM&S Managers and sourcing centers to identify alternative suppliers in other geographies, deploy global strategies, contracts and framework agreements, collect supplier performance feedback
- Identify potential demand and specification changes and communicate them to suppliers
- Manage regional important supplier relationship, and lead our shared service escalated supplier conflict resolutions
- Ensure vendor performance at target levels

**Stakeholder Relationship**
- Communicate with key internal stakeholders/Global Category Managers any market conditions changes which may affect the Business
- Support the responsible sourcing projects implementation and provide information to Procurement Sustainability Manager when needed
- Identify potential demand and specification changes and communicate/influence business stakeholders to drive cost improvements

**Cost Optimization and Business Planning**
- Prepare initiative plans and forecasts following business budget cycle
- Develop cost reduction projects
- Provide price forecast and market trends for key commodities and services

**Core Requirements**:

- >7 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply chain or Logistics Procurement
- International exposure in previous roles
- Fluent in English & **Mandarin**:

- Excellent negotiation skills
- Cultural awareness and adaptable to fast changing business requirements
- Strong collaborator, builds network
