Singapore IMA ASIA PTE. LTD. Full time

IMA Asia is looking for a full-time economist to cover Asia/Pacific markets. The work involves:

- Daily tracking and logging of issues.
- Maintaining a large Excel workbook for each country with some 150 lines of linked analysis on a quarterly and annual basis, with 5-year forecasts for 80 variables.
- Working with the CEIC database as well as numerous open access data bases.
- Producing high-quality written analysis.
- Answering client requests for support.
- Eventually, a capacity to present on the market outlook.

**Who we are looking for**:

- 3-5 years of experience in producing business-level economic analysis.
- Very strong communication skills, both written and in presentations
- Deep interest in the intersection of market developments and business strategy
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint plus an economics degree with a macro focus
- A strong team player

Depending on aptitude, we give our economists a prominent role in the media (TV and the press), in speaking at our events, and in guest speaking roles at high-level conferences.

**Compensation**: Fixed annual salary based on experience and the capacity for work that you bring to IMA Asia.
