Are you an experienced industrial maintenance technician who is interested in working with a variety of complex machinery in a safe and clean environment. If so, a Maintenance Technician position with **_Skypac Packing _**might be a great match for you.

**Overview**

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing and participating in highly dynamic duties including, but not limited to the following:
**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Assist in equipment set-up for production runs
- Assist in equipment change overs for new orders
- New equipment installatins
- Read and understand electrical, mechanical and pneumatic schematics/drawings, and use for effective troubleshooting and repair thus reduce machinery down time
- Perform maintenance skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting on production and building equipment
- Plan and execute equipment and machinery routine maintenance and documentation
- Maintaining parts inventory
- Perform building related installation and maintenance including but not limited to furniture assembly, data/power installations, plumbing and lighting repair

**Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Good verbal and inter-personal communication skills
- High mechanical aptitude desired
- Ability to read work tickets and interpret written information
- Basic computers skills
- Must be pro-active and detail oriented to catch problems or inconsistencies and bring them to management’s attention
- Be careful and respectful of high dollar press tooling
- Good organization skills

**Physical demands**:

- Lifting standing, crouching, stair climbing with a load and associated repetitive tasks
- Must be able to lift 75lbs

**Terms and Conditions**
- Willing to work overtime
- Willing to do shift work
- Willing to take up ad-hoc duties assign by the company

**Education and experience**
- Higher Nitec 2 in electrical/electronics and above
- Relevant experience in trade or manufacturing enviroment
