The role of Senior Manager/Manager, Vendor Management will lead and develop key strategic vendor management strategy to deliver optimised value in terms of pricing, service level standards and business unit requirement.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for continuous identification of key critical spent across the Group, negotiation, and entering framework contract with the key strategic vendors for the benefit of the Group.
- Responsible for interfacing with Yard procurement teams to ensure contract requirements meet the needs of users.
- Work with Legal in framework contract review to protect the Group contractual position.
- Maintenance of framework contract which accessible and utilized in the most optimal level across the Group.
- Develop structured key strategic vendor performance evaluation process, considering feedback from internal stakeholders including Yard procurement teams, users, and customers.
- Be the focal communication point and support in resolving pricing, and service issues with key strategic vendors.
- Maintenance of approved key strategic vendor list and identify alternative supply sources when changes are required and as risk mitigation.
- Degree in Business or a technical field listed herein (but not limited to) the following: Operations Management, Global Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or production/planning environment. Preferably in marine industry
- Experience with continuity planning and risk mitigation development in supply chain environment
- Experienced negotiator and communicator with the ability to deliver critical thinking new ideas and issues resolution.
- Experience operating within SAP environment will be an added advantage
- Good interpersonal relationship skills and professional level of emotional intelligence necessary to achieve the desired objective deliverables.
- Proven experience of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with history of delivering strategic vendor management strategy to organisation
- Continuous improvement mindset, to deliver optimal value to organisation
- Exhibit attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment
