Outdoor School Singapore is expanding Since 2019, we have partnered schools, parents, and organisations to support children’s learning beyond the four walls of a regular classroom. By providing fun and multi-sensory programmes in nature all year round, we aim to nurture generations of confident and responsible global citizens who value and appreciate our natural environment.

How You Would Be Involved:
Looking for a more flexible work arrangement? Join us as an **Instructor (adjunct)** where you can still leave your mark as an educator on our participants.
We are looking to hire new instructors on both contract (12 months) and adjunct (freelance) basis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Implement the activities in accordance with the guidelines, framework, and philosophy of the company
- Flexible and possess the ability to respond effectively to their working conditions
- Facilitate activities and multi-day trips at various locations within Singapore
- Be a role model and forge strong relationships with participants
- Uphold good relationships with parents
- Conduct risk-assessment to ensure participant’s safety
- Attend all instructor training sessions
- Clean, maintain and prepare equipment and logistics
**Requirements**:
- Relevant experience in Early Childhood, Sports or Outdoor Education would be advantageous
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity; conducting outdoor-related programmes (for children preferred) / facilitation/education workshops
- Exhibit classroom management skills and ability to motivate and engage children
- Passionate about outdoor adventure learning and nature
- Positive learning attitude and a growth mindset
- Comfortable with facilitating outdoor activities for children aged 4-9
- Ability to commit to the entire duration of each programme
- Available to start work within one month’s notice
- Currently reside in Singapore
