Bloomberg Intelligence: Associate-analysts Team

We are hiring for an Associates Team Leader to be based in Singapore and leading a team of Research Associates based here. You'll focus on the management, development, and leadership of this team, alongside hands-on participation through research contribution, development, and maintenance of the product. You're a player-coach - balancing the responsibilities of a research analyst one one hand, and the team leadership and management on the other.

We'll trust you to:

- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of associates; responsible for evaluating performance and conducting mid-year and year-end performance reviews
- Actively support a franchise in the research process and effectively maintain associate analyst responsibilities and workflow
- Lead regular Associate team meetings, drive innovation with the team and motivate team members to deliver to the required standard
- Cultivate a diverse and positive team culture and proactively retain, develop, and grow talent
- Regularly meet with the analyst teams that your team members support and work with
- Participate in departmental leadership meetings and calls
- Develop and execute our departmental best practices
- Facilitate collaboration with other departments in Bloomberg including Data, News, Sales and Bloomberg Intelligence to grow and expand existing relationships

**You'll need to have**:

- Bachelor's degree or degree equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of work experience in a research department as an associate analyst
- At least 2 years of work experience in data management and data analysis
- Experience leading, mentoring or developing teams in terms of idea generation and written research production
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- An ability to prioritize and manage under tight deadlines
- Experience enhancing and developing new products
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
