Ramboll Singapore is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer (Stress Skin Structures) to enhance our Energy Transition Team.

We contribute to developing offshore projects with focus on offshore substations, energy islands, PtX, and offshore topside structures within the growing demand for green energy and transition to sustainable solutions. To succeed in this role, you must have a technical background combined with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

**You and your competencies**:
You'll tackle a variety of challenging tasks on a global basis, across borders and timelines and assume significant responsibility in your position as Senior Structural Engineer. As our new Senior Structural Engineer, you will be part of an exceptional technical environment with passionate colleagues found in our global offices around the world including Denmark and India. The group is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services on a global scale within the energy sector. You will be working closely together with very skilled structural engineers in a team with a wealth of experience to draw upon, which together with wide variety in tasks give you a unique possibility for a steep learning curve.

Our services cover a broad range of services within the Structural discipline covering offshore topsides structures. We cover all phases of a project including concept and feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering, EPC and follow-up engineering during fabrication.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Work as a senior structural engineer on offshore topside projects, where the design philosophy and solutions are a Stressed Skin structure. Your focus will typically be on structural layout design and construction, with project scopes ranging from initial studies to comprehensive design specifications and full detail design projects.
- Set up and develop overall structural layouts and design of structural solutions based on a Stressed Skin structure solution for our clients (fabrication yards)
- Provide structural design for topside steel structure solutions, perform analysis and be a focal point in our global team with special skills and experience within Stressed Skin structures.
- Coordinate with other design disciplines and structural 3D/2D CAD team to deliver the structural design.
- Design and solve structural detail solutions yourself whilst providing guidance and mentorship to other engineers in the team.
- Liaison with management, clients, and multiple stakeholders involved in the projects.
- Ensures that the deliverables meet the contract specifications whilst following the project plans (e.g. Project Execution Plan).
- Provide input to the Structural Lead Engineer to ensure reporting of progress and deviations (additional work with cost/time impact and risk identification) can take place to the Project / Engineering Manager.
- Follow-up of quality assurance documentation.

**About you**:
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, your starting point must be:

- Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Structural/Civil, or alternatively Mechanical
- Minimum 10 years of experience within design of (offshore) steel structures
- Substantial working experience with finite element analysis of stressed skin structures using industry approved software (e.g. SACS or SESAM) for design of stressed skin structures.
- Understanding of what it takes to design, analyse and document offshore topside structures according to the prevailing codes and carry this through final certification.
- Fluent communication skills in English
