**JOB DESCRIPTION - QA Engineer/Software Tester**

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle quantifying and analysing users’ requirements, performing exploratory testing, conducting functional testing using an automated test framework, and designing test cases using techniques and practices like boundary, cross-browser, and load testing.
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and plans to ensure the quality of software products.
- Create detailed test plans (including test cases and scripts) for functional, performance, and regression testing, and oversee the execution of these plans.
- Promote and implement test automation strategies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Establish and monitor key quality metrics. Prepare and present reports on test progress and other relevant quality assurance metrics.
- Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that quality objectives are met.
- Identify potential quality risks in software products and processes, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that software solutions deliver a positive user experience and comply with the organisation’s standards and regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing techniques and test management tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Proven experience in QA processes and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing.
- Proficiency in API Testing, particularly with Postman.
- Strong knowledge and experience in DB Testing and query writing.
