HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **Assistant Vice President, Wealth Product Management - Wealth Management.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- The role has overall responsibility for distribution of FX, Commodities and structured products, including Cash and Transactional FX, FX and Commodities derivatives, Dual Currency Investments and hybrids with an emphasis on product strategy development and management, platform and controls oversight, and ownership of the regional product Profits and Loss
- The role requires interface with global, regional and country teams across Wealth, Risk, Markets, Operations and Technology, as well as Sales and Distribution, Proposition and Marketing functions to deliver competitive solutions that meet client needs
- Responsible in leading the oversight and control of the FX portfolio by developing tracking mechanisms through local Data & Analytics team as well as controlling business margins along various risk parameters

**Requirements**:

- Extensive experience in Wealth Management across sales, product and distribution in a leading private client or wealth management firm
- Direct experience in the FX and Commodities products area with deep understanding of sales, structuring execution and settlement
- Knowledge of regional practices and standards would be an asset and broad experience and understanding of the Asia Pacific markets will be essential
- Strong academic credentials with professional accreditations in investments, for example CFA
- Excellent communication skills and ability to write persuasively and converse fluently in English
- Proven track record of business results with strong commercial focus and rigor in implementation
- Demonstrable people leadership and country relationship management skills, with the ability to gain consensus and agreement between geographically diverse countries
