SUMMARY DESCRIPTIONS

This position is responsible for supporting the APAC commercial team, serving as a critical business partner in supporting commercial decisions. In this role, you will assist in leading the business’ financial planning exercises (Budget, Forecast, Latest Estimate) and performance analytics.

This position will assist in driving Revenue and P&L reporting, manage routine business review reporting, and take on ad hoc requests.

This is a newly created role in a business that is currently in a growth phase, where you will be actively involved in exciting new projects and initiatives.

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, International Finance APAC

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Support forecasting processes including meeting internal timelines, instructions to the in-country local teams, and providing templates as well as consolidation and analysis for the business.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of forecasts in the reporting system.
- Assist in providing strong analytics to APAC leadership via trends and dynamic reporting (incl. historical and current run rates as well as other methods). Creating standardized and effective reports and analytical tools to support commercial partners & International Finance.
- Assist in the monthly/quarterly close for Revenue and the P&L across APAC and provide analysis of performance (versus budget/latest forecast and versus prior year), latest estimates, and risks/opportunities to the business.
- Closely monitor, report, and align with business on OPEX within APAC as well as drive actions to deliver on budget commitments.
- Build strong relationships, partner closely, and ensure strong alignment with International HQ and global finance divisions providing reporting as necessary for APAC.
- Assist in supporting the short-term and long-term strategies of the APAC businesses including modeling and planning with heads of APAC.
- Prepare and follow up on APAC distributors’ In-market Sales / Inventory report and Days of Inventory on hand (DOH) analysis.
- Drive insights from data and present the data in a clear and concise manner for management reviews.
- Work independently with moderate instruction and guidance.
- Assist ad hoc items as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Highly analytical, with strong business partnering skills.
- Strong quantitative, financial modeling, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills and a good grasp of accounting concepts.
- Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. Exhibits a probing mind and achieves penetrating insights.
- Experience in collaborating and supporting Sales Operations is a plus.
- Has an entrepreneurial spirit, and the grit, resilience and resourcefulness to overcome obstacles.
- Great communication, team-work spirit, self-motivated and able to work/communicate effectively across APAC and HQ
- Work with cross-functional teams to set up business processes.
- Excellent MS Office, ERP and Database skills
- Working experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting
