The role is strategic with a balance between working with frameworks, advising, collaborating, analysing, and being hands-on with data collection, documentation, and reporting and communication within the area.

DESIGNATION : ESG Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for Hafnia’s ESG strategy, mapping and reporting
- Define, test and implement robust corporate ESG data gathering protocols and accounting principles that are ready for full or limited assurance once this is required
- In collaboration with the business, identify relevant Key Performance Indicators to track our ESG progress
- Participate in the development and monitoring of ESG risks and opportunities, and incorporate into the Group risk strategy as required
- Lead strategic ESG projects
- Create reporting tools and processes, e.g., to include in reporting to Executive Management, Board of Directors, managers, employees, and external stakeholders
- Maintain good understanding of current and future regulatory landscape
- Assist in the design and development of our Annual Report with a specific focus on ESG
- Inspire and mobilise employees with the ESG Strategy and educate them about it
- Prepare external communications towards customers, press, and other stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

**We don’t expect you to be an expert in all, but hope you have in depth knowledge in some areas within ESG, and**
- Hold as minimum a Bachelor Degree
- Analytic with an eye on detail and structure
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within ESG/Sustainability (preferably in a large, global organization or in the shipping industry)
- Have knowledge or experience of accounting for scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions
- Fast learner, able to multi-task and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Self-driven with the ability to take responsibility for your tasks
- You are enthusiastic, outgoing and enjoy being in fun yet trusted learning environment

Your day begins in our Copenhagen/Singapore office by meeting your team and having breakfast and coffee, while ramping up for a busy morning with colleagues in around the globe eager for your input. You will be sitting with our Executive Projects team, where we take pride in being approachable, positive and ambitious. As a company, we recognise and welcome ideas and believe in hiring for attitude and training for skills.

During your day you will have many different interfaces and be in close contact with out global teams. You will be able to structure your day to fit your optimal working routing with having both focus and independent work as well as team and collaboration across our business units. You will be involved both in strategically, but also deep dive in data and analysis. The aim of your job will be to create a strong internal platform while making sure we communicate our progress.
