You will join our team as an Actuarial Analyst Intern between **January - May 2025 period**, where you’ll become part of Munich Re’s Life and Health Southeast Asia Unit in Singapore, supporting the SEA Life Commercial team

In this role, you will be using SQL to transform, process, and analyze client bordereaux data. You will ensure data integrity through quality checks and cleaning, and manage data storage and retrieval for optimal accessibility. Your work will result in comprehensive reports and insights that will drive organizational decision-making. This internship presents an exciting opportunity to gain actuarial experience and enhancing your understanding of actuarial principles and practices.

**Your Role**
- Analyse treaty terms and product features, perform reconciliations, and transformations, to ensure data quality through comprehensive checks, and cleaning, thereby supporting inforce portfolio management.
- Maintain data quality through comprehensive checks, cleaning, and reconciliation, supporting inforce portfolio management and pricing analysis.
- Utilize insurance knowledge to map and standardize client-format portfolio data onto the organization's system, ensuring consistency and integrity.
- Liaise with local offices, resolve issues, and document processes, ensuring accurate interpretation and implementation.
- Conduct ad hoc investigations, including premium reconciliations and providing management information for experience investigations.

**Your Profile**
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, with a strong foundation in data analysis.
- Proficient in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and SQL, with experience in automation, and an emphasis on data management and data analysis
- Knowledge of Life Insurance principles and products is a valuable asset
- Proficient with analytics and ability to work with large volume of datasets
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written business level)
