**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain relationships with charterers, brokers, and shipowners to facilitate the chartering process.
- Identify and evaluate suitable vessels for break bulk and dry bulk cargoes based on customer requirements and market conditions.
- Negotiate charter party agreements and contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for our company.
- Coordinate the timely and efficient loading and discharging of cargoes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor market trends, freight rates, and industry developments to make informed decisions and optimize chartering operations.
- Manage and resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the chartering process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and legal departments, to ensure smooth execution of chartering contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on chartering activities, including market analysis, performance metrics, and financial results.
- Stay updated with international trade regulations and ensure compliance in all chartering activities.
- Keep abreast of market conditions, new business opportunities, and potential risks to provide strategic recommendations.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in break bulk or dry bulk chartering, preferably with exposure to both sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, charter party agreements, and relevant industry practices.
- Proven track record in negotiating and closing chartering contracts with favorable terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market conditions, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in using chartering and shipping software tools and platforms.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
