**[What the role is]**

**[What you will be working on]**

You will be responsible for the following:

- Design, execute, and evaluate experimental studies related to mosquito biology, behaviour, surveillance technologies, and mass rearing systems
- Oversee research projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and quality assurance of deliverables
- Lead or support the development and prototyping of novel tools for vector control
- Conduct data analysis, interpret findings, and present results to management and local stakeholders
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Work Instructions and Risk Assessments for research and operational activities
- Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, publications, and presentations to disseminate research outcomes and support policy development.

**[What we are looking for]**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leading research projects and teams, preferably in insect rearing or related areas
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven skills in experimental design, data analysis and scientific writing
- Good physics knowledge, experience with robotics, 3D modelling and rapid prototyping will be preferred
