**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as **IT Technician **or relevant position
- Excellent diagnostic, trouble shoot and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication ability
- Approachable and positive attitude
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Good knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
- Recognised certification as IT Technician
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage

**General Responsibilities**
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (server, printers etc.)
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.) Maintaining working components through repair or replacement
- Assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties. Assisting staff with hardware and software challenges
- Preparing website with proper coding and content pertinent to company business needs
- Monitoring clicks, links, usability and overall status of the company webpage, landing pages and supporting pages.
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
- Maintain and responsible for the upkeep of the Server Room
- Develop firm’s IT handbook

**Server Administration**
- Create and maintain firewall web filtering policy
- Revit server’s communications between HQ and overseas branch office in Manila
- Anti-virus protection network endpoints
- Print server management (uniflow)

**Office IT Equipment (Desktops, Notebooks, Printers & Plotters) Management**
- Procurement, track hardware and support agreement contracts
- Softwares installation & maintenance including annual subscription renewal
- Autodesk license administration including annual subscription renewal
- Ordering of consumables of printer and plotters (Ink and Paper)
- Provisioning services or resources to our users
- Maintain and update inventory list for IT equipment and softwares

**Groups and Users on Active Directory**
- Create and assign users to well defined security groups
- Create and assign security groups to project folder permissions
- Group policy management
- Windows server update services

**Data Storage Management**
- Monitor storage threshold remain at healthy level
- Data and restore backup of data
- Archival of completed projects, reclaim space from data partitions
- Maintain projects library archive for easy reference"
