Powtain is an app that helps people connect across cultures by sharing tips and stories. Our
goal is to create a community of curious, open-minded individuals who love discovering new
cultures and building connections, no matter where they are in the world.

**The Role**
We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help bring Powtain to life on
Instagram, Twitter/X, and Lemon8. You’ll create fun and engaging content, interact with our
community, and help spread the word about Powtain to build a global following. You’ll be part ofa team that’s all about making culture and language learning easy and exciting for everyone

**What You’ll Do**
- **Create Content**: Make posts, stories, and videos for Instagram, Twitter/X, and Lemon8

that are fun, relatable, and shareable.
- **Engage with the Community**:Respond to comments and messages, and keep the

conversation going about culture, travel, and language.
- **Run Campaigns**:Organize polls, quizzes, and challenges to encourage interaction and

engagement.
- **Stay Trendy**:Keep an eye on social media trends and make sure Powtain stays fresh

and relevant.
- **Track Performance**: Monitor how our posts are doing and use the data to improve our

strategy.

**What We’re Looking For**
- A creative person who loves social media and knows how to make content
- Someone who is curious about different cultures and enjoys learning new things.
- Strong written communication skills and a good sense of humour.
- Bonus: Experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe Spark is a plus, but not

required.
- Extra bonus: If you’re a foreigner or have cross-cultural experience, even better
