**What the role is**
- To initiate and assist in the formation and development of programmes in collaboration with both community and corporate partners along the CDC’s 3 strategic thrusts of i) Strengthening the social infrastructure, ii) Nurturing volunteerism, and iii) Promoting active citizenry, so as to nurture a vibrant and self-reliant community.

**What you will be working on**
- Plan, formulate and grow various CDC Committees which includes staffing District Councillors to conceptualise, plan and implement community projects. - Develop and execute district level CDC projects and cross-segment programmes among CDC’s community partners such as grassroots organisations, social service agencies (SSAs), schools, government agencies and non-government organisations. - Network, coordinate and develop joint CDC programmes or partnerships with community and corporate partners, schools as well as other Government agencies, in achieving set targets and objectives of the Government/PA/CDC. - Engage in research, needs assessments, and gather data to build institutional knowledge to enhance effectiveness of our community projects. - Strategize and maintain sustainable working relationships with internal colleagues and both community and corporate partners through SE CDC community projects. - Coordinate and submit progress reports on the Council Committees, provide feedback, recommend changes and improvements to Council, sharing of results and notes of discussion with Committee, and thereby facilitating communication and coordination between the Committee and the Council. - Ensure work plans and progress on projects are well communicated and updated to council and management on a regular basis by facilitating monthly/weekly meetings for discussion. - Works closely with Manager/Assistant Manager in corporate department to ensure projects/functions are covered adequately by the media and other publicity channels. - Submits progress reports on the Council to PA Headquarters, thereby facilitating communication and coordination between the Council and PA. - Provides administrative and logístical support to projects organised by PA Headquarters. - Provide accurate record of the Council meetings, Standing Committee meetings and District meetings in minutes. - Ensure compliance to Corporate Governances in line with the Government/ PA/CDC policy and guidelines, i.e. Procurement, Projects Staff Manual, PA Staff Manual etc. - Performs other ad-hoc duties assigned by senior officers

**What we are looking for**
- Significant extracurricular involvement or leadership roles - At least 2 years of relevant knowledge or working experience with volunteer management/youth engagement/community activities/social work sector will be advantageous - Knowledge of 2nd language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or dialects)
