**About the Role**:
Essence is seeking a smart, enthusiastic indiviudal to become an integral part of our Advertising Operations team. Our team is responsible for ad serving, campaign tracking, asset management, web/app analytics, and other optimisation technologies associated with the execution of digital advertising - and for ensuring digital campaigns are launched on time and run accurately. We provide consultancy to our clients and colleagues and are at the centre of all things tech within the agency. Our team is structured to provide a tailored approach that is both flexible and adaptable to align to our clients needs.

As a Senior Advertising Operations Executive within our team, you will be responsible for the set-up, execution and delivery of digital campaigns via a 3rd party ad serving platform. You will work with both internal teams (Client Services, Media Analysts, Media Buying and Planning) and external parties (Publishers) to ensure campaign delivery objectives are met.

**Some of the things we’d like you to do**:

- Manage the set up campaigns, placements and creative assets through the use of 3rd party ad serving platforms and vendor interfaces.
- Maintain regular checks and analysis of campaigns to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Work with external vendors and publishers to resolve issues quickly including creative, tag and reporting.
- Attend interdepartmental meetings and provide advice on Ad Operation best practice, campaign optimisation, reporting and tracking requirements.
- Monitor reporting on a daily basis to ensure campaigns are running as expected, providing optimization recommendations and escalating to third parties when appropriate.
- Present in internal team meetings and participate in client meetings on an ad hoc basis.
- Support team leadership in the continual assessment of ad tech platforms and tools; and provide support in testing of different products, including client recommendations, implementations and consulting
- Support client deliverables and projects on an ad-hoc basis.
- Act as an ambassador of ad operations across the agency. Train new starters and continually educate teams on recent developments; building advocacy across the agency.
**A bit about you**:

- 2+ years’ experience in ad operations advertising operations with demonstrable knowledge of ad serving, preferably gained agency side
- Diligent and attentive to detail; able to follow through on projects and/or issues independently
- Confidence in making information based decisions
- An active interest in everything digital, ideally with an understanding of online advertising industry trends
- A self-starter with the ability to manage your own workload.
- Able to multitask, prioritise and manage expectations.
- Some experience working with DoubleClick, Sizmek, AdForm, Flashtalking and other 3rd party ad servers
- Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript or PHP would be a bonus
- Knowledge on DSPs, DMPs, Tag Management Systems, Ad Verification or Site Analytics tools would be a bonus
- Computer literate with good skills in all basic Office programmes (including Excel)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
