Director, Operations, Digital Finance

As the Director, Operations for Digital Finance, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the operational activities related to stablecoin, cards, and digital identity businesses. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, driving efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards across these critical areas. This position requires a strong operational acumen, and the ability to manage complex processes effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1) Operational Efficiency.

Streamline and optimise operational processes for stablecoin, cards, and digital identity businesses. Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.

2) Compliance and Risk Management.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing stablecoin, cards, and digital identity operations. Implement robust risk management frameworks and controls to mitigate operational, legal, and financial risks.

3) Vendor and Partner Management.

Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and business partners to manage operational relationships effectively. Monitor performance, negotiate contracts, and oversee agreements to ensure seamless delivery of services and adherence to quality standards.

4) Operational Support.

Provide operational support to internal teams and external stakeholders. Resolve operational issues, address inquiries, and provide guidance on process-related matters to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Create SOPs, policies and procedures.

5) Performance Monitoring.

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of operations. Generate regular reports and analysis to identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and enhance operational performance.

6) Project Management.

Lead operational projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, technology teams, legal, and compliance, to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budgets.

7) Quality Assurance.

Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to established standards for business operations. Conduct periodic reviews, and assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for process enhancements.

7) Team Leadership.

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of operations professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, set clear goals and expectations, provide coaching and mentorship, and support professional development. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the digital finance space. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational capabilities and recommend innovative solutions to drive business growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in optimizing operational processes, driving efficiency, and implementing quality control measures, with 4-6 years of relevant management experience.
- Experience in building or growing of onboarding operation and customer support team.
- Possess knowledge in one or more of the businesses - digital assets, cards and payments.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within defined timelines.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and operational integrity.
