Shape the future of cyber security at a leading global investment firm. We're looking for a passionate and skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our client's dynamic team, analyse threats, build robust security systems, and champion their defence strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and analyse security alerts, prioritising and distinguishing between potential threats and false alarms
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-class security systems for a complex, international technology environment
- Investigate security incidents to resolution, continuously improving detection capabilities and streamlining response procedures
- Stay abreast of the latest threat intelligence, including hacker methodologies, to anticipate potential breaches
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams across the company, providing security expertise and leadership in incident detection and response
- Act as a mentor to junior staff members, sharing your knowledge and contributing to their development

**Key Requirements**:

- Creative and confident, able to challenge the status quo and build consensus for alternative approaches
- Excellent communicator, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear and concise language
- Proven experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) analyst role
- Expertise in building and maintaining security infrastructure at scale
- Demonstrated proficiency in scripting/coding (Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.)
- Experience securing large-scale infrastructure with configuration management, security compliance, and policy as code tools
- (Desired) Relevant technical security certifications (OSCP, OSEP, GCFA, etc.)
