[What the role is]

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, RAIL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

[What you will be working on]
The Rail Licensing Division is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the team and undertake the responsibility of analysing rail operating performance, identifying trends and patterns to support informed decision-making and spearhead continuous improvement for rail information, in support of the development and regulation of Singapore’s Rapid Transit Systems (RTS) network.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
a) Monitoring, analysing, and interpreting data to extract meaningful insights
into rail performance;
b) Conducting comprehensive assessments to ensure the accuracy of
statistics;
c) Performing checks and audits on the data collection processes of rail
operators;
d) Reviewing, developing and implementing new rail performance indicators;
and
e) Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to improve rail
performance.

[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge in Statistics, Data Science, Business or related discipline
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, including minutes taking

and technical writing skills
- The ability to work both independently and as a team, and multi-task in a

dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Good time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivation and resourcefulness to produce innovative solutions
- Relevant working experience in data analysis, sense making of data from

systems or working experience in rail industry will be an advantage
