We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to help with the acceleration of cloud adoption. The applicant will have a strong background in IT Infrastructure with a strong understanding and at least 3 years’ experience with Public, Private and hybrid cloud.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS or Google Cloud.
- Ensure compliance with asset management regulations in relevant countries.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with company policies and security guidelines.
- Developing, deploying and debugging IaC code (Cloud formation and Terraform).
- Interacting with users, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on user needs.
- Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
- Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
- Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.

**Educational Qualification**

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

field.

**Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management. _
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools _
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation _
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell _
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)- 3-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with asset management regulations in countries where UOB Asset Management operates.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
