Kacific is expanding and we are looking for a qualified Information Security Engineer to support our sales and marketing team.

**The Role**

We are looking for a technically capable and dynamic Information Technology (IT) person to be part of the Kacific Information technology team. You will be responsible and accountable for the Engineering and Operation of Kacific network systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You may need to do network design, supervise key implementation and maintenance of our company’s IT needs

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead the technical team responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of all edge network infrastructure.
- Involved in recruitment, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate network, systems, policies and procedures to provide high SLA
- Identify areas for improvement (network/process/system) and implement strategic solutions in time and cost-effective manner
- Risk assessment of the network, systems, and mitigation plan to ensure continuity of service/business
- Manage the support of the network infrastructure, delivery of services to internal users and external customers

**Job Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- Minimum 8 years for Degree and 10 years for Diploma of experience working in managing network infrastructures and 3+ years of direct people management experience
- 10 years of solid hands-on experience in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Palo Alto, Fortigate firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Experience working in a Data Center or Internet Service Provider, network design and architecture will be an advantage
- Ability to analyse situations, utilize problem-solving techniques and able work effectively under pressure.
- Professional Certification (eg. ITIL, CCNP, CCIE, etc) will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of configuring and troubleshooting IP routing/switching technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP, and VRRP in a dual-stack IPv4/6 environment.
