Product Manager

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Product Manager to handle the product development initiatives within research and development (R&D) environment, working with cross-functional teams, and assist in facilitating technology transfer processes. This role will involve managing the transition of technologies from the research phase to commercial production, ensuring that new innovations are successfully integrated into market-ready products.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES**:
**Technology Transfer Initiative**:

- Ensuring the smooth transition of technologies from R&D to manufacturing or commercialization.
- Coordinate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure that technologies are transferred successfully and meet all operational and quality requirements.
- Develop and implement technology transfer plans, timelines, and milestones, tracking progress and addressing potential challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the product or technology is scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.

**Product Development & Innovation**:

- Manage product development initiatives from concept through prototyping and final product launch, ensuring the integration of research outcomes into viable products.
- Work closely with R&D teams to understand the scientific and technological aspects of innovations and translate these into marketable products.
- Coordinate the activities of R&D teams, including scientists, engineers, and regulatory experts, to ensure timely and effective product development.
- Define product requirements based on market needs, customer feedback, and technological capabilities.

**Cross-FunctionalCollaboration**:

- Partner with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, regulatory, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Provide clear communication across teams to ensure everyone is aligned with product goals, timelines, and expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between R&D teams and other functional departments to facilitate information flow and decision-making.

**Regulatory and Compliance Management**:

- Ensure that all products meet regulatory and compliance standards for their respective markets.
- Collaborate with regulatory teams to support the preparation of necessary documentation for product approval or commercialization.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations to ensure products meet all necessary certifications and legal requirements.

**Product Launch & Commercialization**:

- Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and distribution plans, in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams.
- Monitor and support the product during the commercialization phase to ensure successful market entry and adoption.
- Provide input and recommendations to enhance product portfolio based on customer feedback and market data.

**Risk Management and Problem-Solving**:

- Identify potential risks during the technology transfer and development phases, proactively addressing challenges to ensure the timely delivery of the product.
- Address technical and operational issues that may arise during the transfer of technologies to manufacturing or commercialization.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Use data and analytics to track the progress and success of technology transfer projects and product development efforts.
- Regularly update leadership on progress, challenges, and key milestones in the technology transfer process and product lifecycle.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for improving the technology transfer process and product development strategies.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating new approaches and best practices into the product management lifecycle.

**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or MBA) is a plus.

**Experience**:
5+ years of experience in product management, technology transfer, or R&D management, ideally within a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or technology-driven industry.

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of R&D and technology transfer processes, including both technical and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and manufacturing.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the industry (e.g., FDA, EMA, NMPA, HSA, ISO).
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management and commercialization strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks.

**Preferred Skills**:
