**About the Role**:
We are looking for a **Senior Performance Test Engineer / Test Lead**with a strong background in end-to-end performance testing, test management and stakeholder collaboration across multiple global domains (Banking, Finance, Insurance, Retail, Logistics). You will lead and execute high-impact performance testing activities, work directly with clients and ensure the delivery of scalable, stable and optimized software systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, plan and execute **performance testing strategies**across diverse platforms and industries
- Analyze non-functional requirements and translate them into test plans and execution models
- Conduct **workload modelling**, **test scripting**, and **scenario design**using tools such as **LoadRunner**, **JMeter**, and **Performance Center**:

- Monitor system performance using **AppDynamics**, **Dynatrace**, **PerfMon**, **SysDig**, etc.
- Collaborate with **Scrum/Agile teams**, architects, and business analysts to identify performance risks early
- Create and present detailed performance test reports with clear recommendations
- Provide **technical mentorship**to junior testers and ensure testing best practices are followed
- Maintain test environments and coordinate test runs and data readiness

**Must-Have Skills**:

- **8+ years**of hands-on experience in **Performance Testing & Engineering**:

- Deep expertise in tools:
**OpenText LoadRunner (MF LoadRunner)**
**Apache JMeter**
**AppDynamics, Dynatrace, PerfMon**:

- Proficiency in performance monitoring, tuning, and test result interpretation
- Sound understanding of **Agile, Waterfall**methodologies
- Excellent communication, reporting, and client interaction skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in **Computer Science / Engineering / IT**:

- **Certifications**in Agile, Cloud Computing, or Performance Testing Tools (e.g. HP0-M48)
- Basic Linux/Unix knowledge for server-side log analysis
- Previous onshore or offshore delivery experience with global clients

**Nice to Have**:

- Exposure to **CI/CD**, **Cloud-based**performance testing
- Familiarity with **IBM OMS**or similar e-commerce platforms
- Experience mentoring team members or managing small test teams
