**What's expected of you in this role?**:
In this role, you will share the responsibility with our technical team for overseeing one of our projects on-site at our customer’s shipyard, with a primary focus on ensuring the quality of welds and optimizing welding processes. To be successful in this position, you should have experience with TIG, MIG/MAG, and arc welding techniques, as well as a deep understanding of welding of carbon and stainless steel. Experience with robotics is desirable, but not essential.

We expect you to develop and implement welding procedures, provide technical expertise on welding processes, and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards. You will have the opportunity to create new welding parameters and fine-tune existing weld parameter sets. Extensive training will be provided at our headquarters in the Netherlands to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the role. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing training and knowledge transfer to our customer’s engineers, making strong communication skills essential.

The position is initially a fixed-term role, with the possibility of further extension or conversion to a permanent position based on business needs. The role is based in the western part of Singapore, in the industrial area near the border with Malaysia.

**What are you bringing?**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of welding processes and procedures
- Experience with welding automation
- Knowledge of relevant welding standards and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Good command of the English language
