**Mechanical Design Engineer**

Under work direction of Product Lead and Program Manager, proceeding with own initiative, performs complex mechanical engineering duties following Company standards and procedures, working closely with other engineering and customers.

**Responsibilities**:
Complete assigned engineering tasks, such as investigating, design, developing, and testing in accordance with project requirements.
- Support complete product development cycle from design concept to prototype and production.
- Conduct product or process improvement study.
- Perform functional test of developed hardware.
- Involved in new product introduction, manufacturing, and servicing.
- Involved in assembly and quality control.
- Proper filing and maintaining of product design and production documents such as 3D/2D drawing and BOM, product specification, test report, and product manual.
- Any other duties assigned by Engineering Manager and General Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant working experience in product development.
- Experienced in CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
- Experienced in mechanical design at part, assembly, and system level.
- Good understanding of GD&T.
- Knowledgeable in machining process, injection molding process, material joining technique.
- Good knowledge in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
- Understand product quality control systems and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure with sense of responsibility.
- Positive thinking and willing to take challenge.
- A team player with good writing and verbal communication skills.
- Occasional travel to customers’ sites.
- Experience and familiarity of sockets, probe pin, connector, and thermal and semiconductor equipment is a plus, and however demonstrating a strong willingness to learn is considered very admirable and equally desired.
