**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Carry out as per instructions, responsible to inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Dismantle machines & heavy equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and assist the Service Engineer onboard & in workshop, such as inspecting, replacing or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
- Assemble & install on the mechanical components or equipment onboard in the Shipyard, Anchorage & in Port terminal.
- Clean or lubricate other parts of machinery and pack.
- Inspect the used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, callipers, micrometres, or other measuring instruments.
- Preparation / arrangement of tools and spares for coming maintenance on voyage repaired onboard.

**WORKING HOURS
Standard Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8.00 to 5.30pm

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- NTC-3 & ITE in Marine / Heavy Diesel Engine
- Shipyard engine apprentice or Ex Navy Technician preferred
- Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
