**What you will be working on**
- This role acts as a catalyst for change and improvement in safety performance and quality of SportSG and enables the incumbent to foster and champion an effective safety culture within the organisation and the wider Singapore. The incumbent will support a safety management system and ensure that ActiveSG and its stakeholders are operating in safe conditions and compliant to regulatory safety requirements providing guests with safe sporting experiences.
Role and Responsibilities
- To manage the ISO 45001 process, including but not limited to procurement, working with centres/HQ on ISO documentations, liaising with auditors, presentations to management etc
- To manage the BizSAFE process, including but not limited to procurement, working with centres/HQ on documentations, liaising with auditors, presentations to management, etc.
- To recommend and set standards for quality, health and safety
- To schedule, organise and conduct or coordinate relevant safety trainings
- To arrange and conduct safety sharing, especially on incidents
- To work with centres to ensure compliance to Workplace Safety and Health Act
- To monitor and maintain a register on hazards and continuous improvements, including any violations or non-compliance
- To coordinate, arrange and staff OHS ActiveSG Committee and SMM
- Follow up and advise OHS related matters

- A general Bachelor degree
- At least 8 years of proven experience and/or track record in Safety Management
- Experience in project management
- Good knowledge f local safety requirements
- Possesses risk management and investigation skills
- Confidence and results-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build rapport
- Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Positive thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
