**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze and utilize on-chain trading data to design efficient and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with trading teams to understand business requirements and deliver impactful insights.
- Communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Job Requirements**
- A PhD in Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expertise in solving optimization problems, including pathfinding, resource allocation, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in Python and R.
- Experience working with large datasets and developing efficient computational algorithms.
- Familiarity with blockchain or decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus but not required.

**Preferred Skills**
- Knowledge of convex optimization, numerical methods, and algorithmic development.
- Familiarity with trading systems, financial engineering, or related domains.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
