RESPONSIBILITIES-
- Report Footprint: act as the Greenhouse Gases (GHG) manager for the site, being responsible for the preparation, updates and approval of the Monitoring Plan and Emissions Report. Furthermore, liaise work with 3rd party verifier (auditor) for audit and verification of the GHG emission report prior to the official submission to the authority.- Lead the site Energy Management Team, an inter-disciplinary team that participate to following work cycle: Acquire/monitor/analyze relevant data (site energy/water balance), Identify/assess/drive efficiency and sustainability improvement projects, prepare internal and external reports, initiate and execute site audits.- Maintains a data collection, recording and analysis system, maintain an overall energy cockpit for monitoring of energy and its cost.- Work independently, possess innovative mindset and good cooperation skills to Evonik internal and external stakeholders.- Point of contact to the authorities, monitor changes in the relevant regulations and cascade to the site-wide organization.- Foster Heartprint: promote culture of energy/water efficiency within site and business line by sharing knowledge to the local team, conducting workshops/trainings, communicating to senior management and corporate. Representing site interest in the related associations, seminars, workshops, briefings and expert committees.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor, Master or PhD in Chemical Engineering- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) qualification is preferred- Singapore Certified Water Manager is preferred

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities required- Advanced process and analytic skills to understand complex chemical processes- Know-how of chemical unit operations (e.g. reaction, filtration, drying)- Know-how on energy and mass flow balances- Hands-on attitude to support operations in troubleshooting and plant trials- Understanding of state-of-the art technologies for sustainability- Creativity to develop out-of-the-box solutions- Communication skills to foster knowledge sharing within the organization- People management skills to lead an inter-disciplinary team in achieving compliance and efficiency improvement targets
