**Responsibilities**:
**Demand Planning**:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasting models to predict future product needs.
- Analyze depletion reports to identify sales trends and generate product forecasts for procurement requirements.
- Work closely with management, sales, and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of products.
- Continuously analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
**Buyer**:
- Manage daily procurement and requisition activities, including handling shipments, and coordinating with vendors, warehouses, and freight forwarders.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for procurement processes.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee documentation for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with import/export laws and regulations.
- Review vendor backlogs regularly and proactively expedite deliveries to meet deadlines.
- Submit timely depletion reports to brand owners and relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery timelines, or service.
- Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising product quality or delivery timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and lead times to prevent stockouts and overstocking, ensuring optimal stock availability.
- Maintain high-quality standards for procured goods, conducting regular quality checks and inspections on received shipments.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and drive results with mínimal supervision.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in demand planning and procurement processes.
- Understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation.
- Strong negotiation abilities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a capacity to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP.
- Knowledge of best practices and current trends in procurement and supply chain management.
Pay: $3,333.00 - $5,000.00 per month
