Freelance Coding Instructors- Moe Schools

We are currently hiring Freelance Coding instructors to join us for workshops in MOE schools. Familiarity with one or more of the following coding programmes is required: Scratch, Minecraft Education Edition, Microbit, Lego Wedo, Python. Applicants with knowledge of more than 3 of the modules listed above qualify for a higher hourly rate.

As a Teacher, you are expected to provide students with a fun and engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking, while addressing the individual academic needs of each student.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and delivering computer science or robotic lessons in MOE schools.
- A skill for explaining concepts in an engaging manner.
- Patience and love for dealing with primary school students.
- Assess students’ learning and provide constructive feedback to the schools as and when required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Your Requirements**:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or science. Maths and Science tuition teachers are encouraged to apply.
- Teachers who do not possess a diploma/degree in the abovementioned specialisations, but have knowledge of coding may also apply.
- Experience with teaching students with learning differences and special needs a plus.

**Work hours & additional information**:

- Freelance
- Hourly rates do not include transportation allowance. Instructors are to travel to and fro schools at their own expense.
