It also offers other services for seniors such as an active ageing hub, senior activity centres, community support for vulnerable seniors, and a sheltered / senior group home. In addition, it runs a chain of dental clinics, and a family medicine clinic.

DESIGNATION : Exercise Trainer (Full-Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Exercise Trainer will be responsible for conducting fitness programmes for seniors under NTUC Healths Active Ageing Services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. **Conducting fitness classes**
- Conduct fitness programmes for seniors
- Receive training on new fitness programmes that will be introduced regularly
- Conduct pre
- and post-programme assessments for clients
- Attend to walk-in customers
- Maintain a safe, hygienic and conducive environment
- Maintain client records and mark attendance in the system

2. **Admin and others**
- Participate in marketing/promotional activities to promote NTUC Healths active ageing services
- Maintain inventory of equipment used for exercise programmes
- Participate in team meetings and other operational tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical/ Professional:

- WSQ Certificate / Advance Certificate in Therapy Services, or Certificate or Diploma in related Sports, fitness training or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience conducting fitness classes

General:

- Lively personality with engaging communication skills
- Comfortable with change and new programmes
- First aid certified
- Experience working with elderly clients

OTHER INFORMATION
- Required to travel islandwide to cover duties at various centres
- May be expected to work outside normal office hours or on weekends, based on the needs of the programmes
