**Roles and Responsibilities**
**Job Purpose**:
We are looking for a responsible Traffic Controller to coordinate all shipments and support the operations for distribution and delivery. Job scope also include planning, arrangement, and monitoring of the deliveries. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and lead a team of prime mover drivers
- Plan and set priorities for daily activities efficiently
- Assign jobs to drivers through PSA Haulier Community System
- Monitor and track jobs progress to ensure all assignments are delivered timely
- Control and monitor closely with drivers on their movement
- Communicate and handle drivers’ feedback and problems efficiently
- Process and handle documentations through PSA Portnet System
- Process depot booking through CDAS CMS online
- Coordinate and communicate closely with customer service for all customer’s trucking
- Communicate closely with operation to improve and maximize company’s resources
- Perform other duties assigned by superior
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in logistics traffic control preferred
- Familiar with PSA PortNet, and CDAS
- Familiar with rebate system will be added advantages
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with drivers and external customers
- Able to work as a team player, pro-active, self-motivated and high sense of responsibility
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and detail in work
- Good planning and resources management
- Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Ability to perform under a fast-paced and performance driven environment
- Able to work independently with pro-active attitude
- Reasonable knowledge of Singapore roads, yard and port operations
