Linen Maid, Housekeeping

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the Senior Linen Maid and perform simple housekeeping duties whenever needed.
- Receive and process guest laundry whenever required.
- Verify the specific laundry service(s) the guest requires - laundry, dry cleaning, regular or express service, and that the laundry form is completed properly.
- Inspect individually the type(s) of laundry articles collected for physical defects, and record in the guest laundry booklet the physical characteristics of each piece of guest laundry collected e.g., type of laundry, colour, brand and etc., before sending to laundry operator.
- In the case of spotting guest laundry with defects - frayed threads, torn, stains, missing buttons and/or other accessories, etc., immediately alert Housekeeping Management or Front Office to inform guests of such defects before sending to the laundry operator. Highlight such defective laundry articles to the laundry operator so extra care will be exercised during processing.
- Collect all returned guest laundry from the operator daily and ensure that the returned quantity of guest laundry is correct, free from all defects, and pressing are done in a satisfactory manner before delivering them to each respective guest. In the case of spotting defective laundry, inform Housekeeping Management or Front Office immediately for service recovery.
- Count and record daily all staff uniforms and send them to the laundry operator for washing or dry cleaning.
- Ensure that each staff returns their soiled uniform and fills in the staff uniform booklet correctly before collecting clean uniforms. Physically count and ensure that all soiled uniform collected matches with the staff uniform booklet before sending it out to the laundry operator for processing.
- Mend and remove stains from all staff uniforms whenever necessary.
- Collect and count all soiled in-room linen - bath towels, kitchen towels, and face towels from Apartment Attendants daily and exchange them with new linen.
- Run and fulfill laundry errands upon clients' requests whenever necessary.
- Carry and shift heavy loads of linen.
- Daily cleaning and keeping the Linen Room and surroundings neat and tidy.
- Any other assignments assigned by Senior Linen Maid and Housekeeping Management.

**Requirements**:

- Understand simple English
- Able to handle equipment
- Some knowledge of cleaning

Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to Commute:

- Singapore 258354 (preferred)
