On Call Pathologist

Location: Singapore

Overview of the Role
- Final quality control review on designated patient reports
- Review and marking of histology slides for downstream molecular analysis
- Review and interpretation of designated immunohistochemical slides
- Being accessible to the laboratory to provide onsite, telephone, or electronic consultation as needed
- Diagnose surgical biopsy specimens, microscopically and correlate with clinical findings as needed
- Gross specimens or oversee the grossing of specimens
- Handle different subspecialty specimens
- Keep up to date with current literature and research
- Correlate special stains and immunohistochemistry in the final diagnosis or interpret as required
- Provide over site to the histology staff and provide feedback for quality improvement
- Other duties as assigned

Role Requirements
- You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a pathologist.
- You will have the ability to work on call 1-2 days a week on site in Singapore.
