A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Information Sciences and Systems, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

**Job Description**:
- Responsible for the simulation platform implementation related to the multi-user coding for 6G mMTC communications (e.g., sparse code multiple access systems)- Design outstanding error-correction codes (e.g., LDPC/Polar codes) and message-passing Turbo receivers for 6G mMTC scenarios- Devise modulation strategies enabling different QoS requirements and factor graph- Conceive the performance analysis tools based on the multi-user communication framework- Work with team members to ensure smooth integration of various software and hardware experiments- Document all processes and implementation- Manage tasks according to the project schedule

Educational background required:
- PhD degree in Communication Engineering or related field from a reputable university- Post-doctoral experience is preferred

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in publishing papers related to coding and detection- Good understanding and ability in information theory, channel coding, and multi-user communications- Knowledge of various error-correction codes and message-passing algorithms- Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment- Independent and can work well with a team- Fluent verbal and written communications in English

Preferred Requirement:
- Experiences in programming software (e.g., MATLAB, C, and C++)
