Storekeeper

Job Scope
- Is responsible for the coordination of central store operations (inbound processing, inventory, work site/project order fulfilment)
- Is responsible for the direct day-to-day administration of the Company’s central store

Core Responsibilities
- Receives, stores, issues materials to work sites/projects against quantity’ delivery time and material description stated in their requisition orders.
- Liaises with Site Supervisors and Site/Yard Superintendents regarding their material requirements in order to effect just-in-time delivery to the satellite stores of the sites/projects.
- Liaises with Purchasing Assistant to ensure prompt delivery of ordered materials from approved vendors/suppliers.
- Provides feedback to Purchasing Assistant on the timeliness of material delivery and any visible damage for Purchasing Assistant to effect returns to the vendors/suppliers.
- Liaises with Quality Assurance & Control Inspector to carry out in-coming inspection of delivered materials.
- Ensures there is proper updated and high accuracy of inventory control system in the store.
- Maintains housekeeping and store security and submits monthly inventory and store security reports to Logistics Superintendent and Directors.
- Provides ideas to Logistics Superintendent on improvements to store management.
- Inspection and general service of hand tools and equipment eg grinders, cutting tools and welding equipment.

Pay: $650.00 - $850.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
