**Job Description**:
Job Profile Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high quality medical underwriting assessment, supporting all key underwriting activities for our Enterprise Business clients. As part of this dynamic role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure underwriting activities are completed within the department’s agreed service standard and turnaround time.

Job Descriptions:

- Ensure accurate, timely processing of underwriting for Life and Health insurance.
- Evaluate the risk and exposures of potential clients and provide analytical and competitive underwriting decision.
- Handle all underwriting administrative works including decision updating in system, letter issuance and mailing, documents receiving and filing, cheque issuance for medical payment.
- Build strong relationship with reinsurer to provide better underwriting negotiation and outcome.
- Ensure all the underwriting records/ tracking are correctly updated (maintenance of governance documentation).
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies.
- Involve in reviewing underwriting SOP, guidelines and streamline work processes regularly to improve efficiency.
- Involve in ad-hoc underwriting related system enhancements or projects.

Who we are looking for:
Competencies & Personal Traits
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Self-driven in completing workload and can be entrusted to deliver work as promised.
- Good team-work and multitasking capabilities.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and work under pressure.

Working Experience:

- At least 3-5 years of underwriting experience in Life or Group insurance.
- Underwriting authority of at least S$750k for Death/ TPD cover.

**Education**:

- Degree in Nursing or Biomedical Science/ Engineering or related field.
