- Tuas API’s role in the API Network is to support small molecule manufacturing and Technical transfers into the site for both PBG and Viatris, thus supporting Pfizer and Viatris many leading medicines.

- The Tuas API Supply Chain Team Leader will demonstrate the appropriate Tuas API leadership behaviors of always being patient focused, demonstrating alignment with Pfizer’s leadership standards as well as encouraging leadership at every level of the organization.
- Lead, Coach and direct the supply chain team, including developing and communicating objectives, priorities, performance management and development plans.
- This role is especially important in the unique situation Tuas finds itself in whereby 50% of products are PBG and 50% are Viatris. The supply chain Director will be key in working with Viatris VSOT team on site.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Supply Chain Director will:

- Lead the supply chain strategy for Tuas API and have direct responsibility for supply planning for the site and for the Viatris/PC1 relationship and support.
- Collaborate with the Site Leadership Team, site functions, Product teams and our external stakeholders and customers to support the delivery of a World Class Manufacturing Operation.
- Lead, support, coach and develop the Supply Chain Team to deliver all supply commitments agreed with internal and external stakeholders. The person will be responsible for supply performance (as measured by the inter - site customer services metrics) and ensure that the supply chain & planning team collaborates at all levels and especially with product teams to deliver this supply performance.
- Be responsible for leading and ensuring the site has Integrated planning and effective internal scheduling to deliver product flow.
- Advance the PGS Transformation strategies including Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx), Manufacturing Technology, and Digital Innovation, among others.
- Ensure that the correct supply strategy is in place to fit our customer and stakeholder needs both short and long term by engaging in strategic external processes such as LRVF, Budget and inventory planning, Material Supply excellence and Capacity planning.
- Ensure that strategies such as data integrity, SAP integration, visible production planning are adhered to. This will involve an ongoing strategic focus, partnering with the site leadership team as well as above site stakeholders.
- Ensure implementation and success of Process Centric teams following the IMEX Eco System Model
- Deliver Safety & Quality Excellence as measured by the sites BSC and ensure the function delivers on our ZD and SQE behaviours operating to the 11 Safety, Quality & Excellence principles. Ensure operational excellence tools deployed for reactive investigations and proactive safety & quality excellence.
- Deliver Supply Excellence as measured by our customer service metric aligned with customers and above site stakeholders.
- Ensure Tuas Implement an integrated, system-enabled product delivery system that has above site visibility and guidance to meet commercial projections and at site execution, that is tracked and that reliably delivers on global plans.
- Ensure operational excellence principles are embedded to deliver supply excellence from end to end.
- Deliver a Culture of People Excellence thru SQE, Product teams, supporting individual development to maximise each colleague’s potential. Recognise individual and team performance through full use of available processes including mission awards, site communications and individual recognition.
- Engage with external stakeholders (APINLT, Global Supply chain and portfolio management team) to constantly benchmark and challenge the site to deliver the next level of improvement in supply excellence.
- Develop and implement storage plan and procedures to maximize space utilization and productivity along with managing off-site warehouses as needed.
- Drive Continuous improvement of supply management process, VSM, E2E, SME and Cycle Time.
- Work closely with Sub-con VSOT team to meet the agreed targets.
