**Manager/Senior Manager, Legal Advisory & Compliance**

We are looking for versatile lawyers who have an interest in the field of international dispute resolution, and possess multi-disciplinary skills and talents, able to work both in a team setting and as an individual contributor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, review, and implement policies, guidelines and initiatives to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations in countries where SIAC operates
- Provide advisory support (including liaising with external law firms where necessary) to Management on Legal and Compliance matters, including sanctions matters
- Liaise with regulators and external auditors on compliance matters
- Develop, design, and deliver effective compliance training programs to build a positive culture of compliance
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits
- Lead and conduct investigations on compliance issues
- Ensure that compliance audit findings are being addressed adequately and in a timely manner
- Review and vet legal contracts and agreements
- Conduct legal research
- Keep abreast of new laws and regulations in countries where SIAC operates and lead in the creation and implementation of relevant and necessary action plans
- Develop relevant risk management strategies
- Perform Secretariat duties to the Board, including preparing resolutions and taking minutes for meetings
- Undertake the IP portfolio of SIAC
- Support other aspects of the work of the Strategy and Development Group as assigned, including SIAC outreach activities and other promotional work.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree in Law
- In-house counsel or private sector experience is relevant for this role
- Minimum 3 years of proven track record in Legal and Compliance
- Strong knowledge of privacy laws, anti-money laundering laws and sanctions; relevant experience in a global setting is preferred
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management
- Able to work independently
- A good team player
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
