**About the role - you will**:
An embedded electronics engineer is responsible for designing and developing electronic systems and devices that are integrated into other products or systems.

**About you**:
**What will you learn and embark on at a start?**

**What you would ultimately be able to be proficient in?**
- Partner cross-functional teams in respective projects. Actively seek out and collect input(s) from stakeholders across supporting disciplines.
- Uncover concept or technology requirements and translate requirements into subsystem specifications. Follow through on transfer of new ideas into proof of concepts, track issues in development, and implement resolution of issues.
- You should ultimately be able to perform the given task as an independent engineer not limited to these fields:

- Design and develop embedded hardware and software systems: This involves designing and developing the hardware and software components of an embedded system, including microprocessors, microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators.
- Test and troubleshoot: Embedded electronics engineers must test and troubleshoot their designs to ensure they meet the required specifications and functionality. This includes performing functional tests and compatibility tests.
- Document designs and processes: Embedded electronics engineers must create detailed documentation of their designs and development processes, including schematics, code, and test plans.

**Your experience includes**:

- A degree in electrical or electronics engineering, computer engineering, or related fields.
- Passionate in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems, such as C, C++, and Assembly.
- Experience with common embedded systems platforms and tools, such as ARM, AVR, and Raspberry Pi.
- Advocate of analytical thinking for problem-solving.

**Location**:
The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work. Being a purpose-built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym, and recreation rooms.
